Symantec Corporation needed a more flexible way for their users to learn how to install or upgrade the latest versions of Symantec software. Symantec wanted the app:

Available in the Apple AppStore as well as in Android Play store.
Responsively designed for mobile phones, tablets and laptops.
Available anytime, anywhere, even when the user was not connected to the internet.

Digitec’s application development team designed a native app for Apple and Android, with:

App content synchronized to the Digitec hosted server. This way, time-sensitive data like videos and FAQs were managed through an HTML5-compatible WordPress site.
Easy content updates, without needing a mobile app developer.

Digitec submitted the apps to the app stores, on behalf of Symantec. Digitec also integrated the app pages into Symantec’s Omniture web trends reporting system, so that Symantec could easily track user access and session data.
