5-09 -- Florida Virtual School
Digitec recently completed a Computer Science project for Florida Virtual School (FLVS), which is an online public school for middle and high school students. Digitec's designers and animators created a 3-D Flash desktop environment for students to access the high school course content. The project also involved designing a themed content interface and icons for the course.
Florida Virtual School (FLVS), founded in 1997 as the country's first state-wide Internet-based public school, is an established leader in developing and providing virtual education solutions to students. FLVS serves middle and high school students with more than 90 courses, and is the only public school with funding tied directly to student performance.
