Digitec launched its online motor vehicle dealer pre-licensing course in late December 2008, and the course has already been a huge success, with over 130 new dealers taking and completing the course since the beginning of the year. The dealers present their certificate of completion to the state as part of their license application.

Digitec's course is the only DMV-approved online class of its kind in the state, offering the convenience of taking the course when a prospective dealer wants, without having to wait for a scheduled class time or traveling to the location where the course is being offered. They can learn at their own pace, without having to sit in a classroom for the full 16 hours. And they can retake the course and assessment until they pass.

Digitec also offers a Continuing Education version of the course, which is required of all dealers on a bi-annual basis. Between the two courses, Digitec has served over 1000 dealers statewide in receiving and retaining their dealer licensing.
