PADI truly is the "The Way the World Learns to Dive®." With PADI-certified training centers across the globe, PADI wanted a way to encourage new members to discover the sport and get their open water diver certification.

Digitec worked with PADI to create a truly blended eLearning solution. Using Knowledge Direct WEB, the PADI staff produced the Open Water Diver course. The instruction was designed and developed by PADI using streaming video, audio and interactivity.

The learners purchase the course online and then log in to the PADI eLearning Knowledge Direct WEB portal to take the instruction, complete the assessments and earn their certificate.

As a blended learning solution, learners can send messages to their dive instructor during the course. Once they complete the course, the learners visit their local PADI-certified dive store to meet their instructor in person, complete the practical component and earn their certification!
