Digitec produces award-winning game-based eLearning content and learning management applications, including the Knowledge Direct® suite of applications. Digitec also creates educational game engines, including the Multiplayer Challenge Game, which has been used by Cisco Systems for real-time, online CCNA certification test preparation.
Knowledge Direct WEB has been cited for the second year in a row in the study, “Rapid eLearning: What Works” published by the independent analyst Bersin & Associates.
Digitec’s staff has been involved in eLearning since the 1990s. In 2002, Digitec was the winner of a coveted Brandon-hall.com Excellence in ELearning award for a highly interactive and entertaining game-based program, Credit Compass. Digitec was awarded a 2005 Award of Excellence from Technology & Learning magazine for the “Grab Todd’s Cash” finance game.
Digitec has presented on game-based learning, speaking at national conferences, including TechLearn, ASTD, Training, eLearning Guild and the Financial eLearning conference in New York. Digitec’s instructional designs and products reflect the Play to Teach Gamespace Continuum, which leverages game theory and delivers effective embedded, collaborative, game-based simulations and immersive learning environments.
