David Womble, Vice President
As Art Director, David is responsible for the artistic vision of Digitec, as well as ensuring a high caliber design for all client projects. Since joining Digitec in 2001, he has art directed a majority of Digitec’s major projects, including Performance Connection, a highly interactive eLearning course developed for The Walt Disney Company and all of its subsidiaries.
As a designer, developer, and manager, David has worked with numerous Digitec clients including VMWare, Symantec, The Walt Disney Company, Lockheed Martin, Starwood Vacation Ownership, Cisco Systems, Hilton Grand Vacation Club, JA Worldwide, InCharge Education Foundation, and many others.
Over the course of his career, David has designed and developed hundreds of web sites, CD-ROMs, DVDs, kiosks and web applications. He has won multiple awards, including Ardy for his work with Starwood Vacation Ownership and the Society for Technical Communication’s Distinguished Technical Communication Award, at the international level, for his work with
Lockheed Martin.
Earlier in his career, David worked for other multimedia development companies and corporations as a production artist, developer and project manager. He was instrumental in developing the Lockheed and Martin Missiles and Space interactive department.
An avid photographer and sculptor, David graduated from the University of Central Florida with a B.A. in Graphic Arts.
